Zojak World Wide is pleased to announce the first single from Streetwise/Dubwise, Jamaican producer Kirkle Dove’s innovative dub album, is now available on I-Tunes. “Give It To Me” featuring Ce’Cile and Courtney John is a lively dub blend of dancehall, reggae, soca and rock music. “Give It To Me” is a tune that crosses definitions of genre and places the producer, Kirkle Dove, within the category of artist, much like King Tubby, Scientist and others have done with roots reggae. Kirkle Dove is the first to experiment in this way with modern dancehall beats.

To be released March 3, 2009, Streetwise/Dubwise provides a fresh approach to experience reggae music. In addition to the Courtney John and Ce’Cile single which is available today, producer Kirk Bennet brings together Anthony B, Toots Hibbert (of Toots & The Maytals), Mr. Vegas, sax maestro Dean Fraser, dancehall artist Determine and others in a unique blend of crucial groovy reggae vibes on the album itself. This time however, Bennett steps out of the traditional producer role and takes the music to places it hasn’t been seen in years. Combining the essence of Kingston, Jamaica’s street culture and the dub/remix genre, Streetwise/Dubwise presents a clever and thoughtful take on current reggae and dancehall music.

On “Peanut Man” Toots Hibbert and Kirkle Dove create a refreshing international sound by fusing vintage vibes with modern production. The track “River Bed”, featuring Aisha Davis, is Bennett’s dub reprise of his smash Dutchpot Riddim, the same riddim that launched Mr Vegas hit “Tek Weh Yuhself” in 2008, and is sure to take over the dancefloor again. Not to be left out, Mr. Vegas returns with “Daggering”, a playful, mento induced track to make even the stiffest of hips move to the beat. In short, Streetwise/Dubwise will have something for reggae fans looking for a new sound, dub fans waiting for the next Jamaican dub producer to make a mark and dance goers hunting for original beats to move along to. The movement begins today with Ce’Cile and Courtney John’s “Give It To Me”. Streetwise/Dubwise drops March 3, 2009.

"REVELATION" COMES TO PASS, LITTLE HERO TOPS BILLBOARD REGGAE CHART WITH DEBUT ALBUM

Zojak World Wide is proud to congratulate dancehall reggae artist Little Hero for debuting atop the Billboard Reggae Album Chart the week of January 25th. Revelation, Little Hero’s first ever album, beat out UB-40, various artists named Marley and Grammy nominee Heavy D on its way to the top. Revelation is now available on I-Tunes and e-tailers world wide.

“I just have to give thanks to the Most High for making it possible because having a #1 album on the Billboard chart is a dream every artist wants to reach,” says Little Hero. “The love and the appreciate feels great. It would not have been possible without the fans, DJs, soundsystems, my family and my friends.”

Featuring stand out tracks such as the timeless “Inna Di Ghetto” and the more recent “Praise God”, Revelation’s success should come as no surprise. In 2008, “Praise God” held the top spot on the VI Top 20 Reggae Chart, the New York and the South Florida Reggae Charts. Regular touring has also contributed to Little Hero’s achievements in and outside of Jamaica which is reflected in the broad selection of 15-tracks. Released on Delroy Roberts’ Inspire Records imprint, the next single from Revelation will be “King Solomon World”. Recorded over an inspirational one-drop riddim, Little Hero energizes the song with consciousness vibes and a stirring message of positivity.

Recently returned from a Caribbean tour, media requests are flowing in and Little Hero is moving forward with plans to support the album locally and abroad. Fans can expect “more love and more music in 2009,” he says. For music fans who want to know what the buzz is all about right now, Revelation is available online and in stores worldwide.
