SOJA LINKS UP WITH LUCIANO, TONY REBEL, QUEEN IFRICA AND MORE FOR STRONG ROOTS ALBUM...

DMV Music and Zojak World Wide are pleased to make SOJA’s innovative roots reggae album, Syr Mahber, available to the world. A truly international roots reggae effort, Syr Mahber – Amharic for “roots association” is crafted with the same musical and conscious heights SOJA has earned over the past years while touring and playing to loving fans internationally. Each artist was hand picked by SOJA to form a musical family tree with roots in "Be Aware" and "Faith Works." Syr Mahber stands out with featured songs from established reggae stars from the Caribbean such as Tony Rebel, Luciano, Queen Ifrica and President Brown from Jamaica and Ras Attitude and Batch from St. Croix as well as artists from Ethiopia, Puerto Rico and United States. The cooperative effort produces excellent results over 16 solid tracks of conscious roots reggae music with quality instrumentation and arrangements. Syr Mahber will be featured on Itunes and fine e-tailers everywhere May 12.

SOJA opens the album with two tracks demonstrating why the group is known for their attention to songwriting and musicianship. SOJA’s Bobby Lee pulls no punches attacking every day sufferation on “Be Aware” and then returns with the inspirational “Faith Works”. What follows is a riddim driven experience made all the more unique with SOJA’s tight production. Luciano maintains the inspirational vibe with “Hold On”, President Brown gets serious about looking to Selassie “for the light and truth” on “Trod Again” while SOJA rips a funky bass driven groove and Queen Ifrica gives an outstanding effort on “I Rise” alongside SOJA’s rock and roll overdubs. Syr Mahber also features St. Croix’s Ras Attitude who represents for the new generation of conscious deejays hailing from V.I. Ras Attitude’s hot lyrical flow on “Face Off” is tempered only by “Rest Of My Life”, a carefully crafted song of solidarity sung by SOJA’s own Jacob Hemphill. Sister Carol interrogates the “Decadence” of modern times while Batch, also from St. Croix, continues the foundation roots style with “Neck Tie” and Tony Rebel brims with experience and confidence on “I Know”. Fear Nuttin Band’s punk influenced edge to “Beware” adds to a range of genres included on the album. Syr Mahber closes with a selection of crucial roots music from Jah Dan (“No Way”), Junior Kelly (“Damn”), and Don Caramelo whose Puerto Rican roots mix well with SOJA on “What Do You See”. Combining authentic riddim production with live instrumentation and a selection of extraordinary artists from around globe, Syr Mahber is a must listen for fans of roots reggae and world music as well as music fans internationally!

HARRY TODDLER DEBUT ALBUM ON DOWNSOUND RECORDS

Downsound Records and Zojak World Wide are very proud to present the debut album, Info, from Harry Toddler. From #1 dancehall hits to soulful one drop anthems, Info is all you need to know about reggae and dancehall this summer. Info is available on Itunes May 12. Engineered by Michael ‘Angel’ Adams and boasting the Self Defense Riddim, productions from Jam 2, TJ, Free Willy, Burch, King of Kings, Ward 21 as well as a wicked version of Dave Kelly’s Showtime Riddim from TJ Records. Of course, it can’t hurt to start of with a #1 dancehall hit either.

More Money”, the charting topping dancehall hit from Downsound Records sets off a series of wicked tracks from the Blond Ras including “Nuh Man To My Ears” in which Harry Toddler continues his straight talking and “Lue”, which vibes off the popular play on the word ‘illusion’ to comment on politics, relationships and the dancehall scene. Toddler’s “Dresser Bag”, a driving force behind Cordell ‘Scatta’ Stewart’s recent massive Self Defense Riddim, and “Hypocrite” recorded over a version of Dave Kelly’s Showtime are two of the hottest songs in dancehall and “Scare Dem Alliance” brings together the hottest artists in the business for a amazing group effort. Always aware of the hottest trends and talents, Harry Toddler invites the new deejay Pamputae to join him on “Rich Gal”, a rocking R&B reggae track. And in true Toddler fashion, the Blond Ras sets up a conversation between “No Tearings”, a light hearted jab at those who would beg a dollar, and “Pon Wi” which Toddler kicks off with the statement that “when we step out never less than 50 grand pon wi”. “Million And Bouf” is a signature Toddler creation to refer to get rich through hustling. Riding over a groovy hip hop melody Toddler connects the downfall of the world economy to hustling success. And the rhymes on “Superwoman” alternate between loving ballad and hard hitting deejay lyrics creating a unique crossover flow that continues with “Memories” and “Vegetarian” featuring Anthony B, an ital anthem bubbling over heavy bass and smart percussion. The natural vibes dominate on “Pray Fi Dem”, “Nuh More Killing” and “Heart Breaker” on which Harry Toddler shows he can handle the one drop as well as the dancehall riddims. Info closes with “Safe Travel”, important information for every one to take home. Take home Harry Toddler's debut album, Info, today!

SPANNER BANNER - I'M A WINNER - NOW AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE

PREVIEW "ROLLING STONE" & "SOLID AS A ROCK" BELOW...

Bonner Cornerstone Music and Zojak World Wide are proud to release Spanner Banner’s album I’m A Winner. Eight years after the conscious roots singer’s most recent album, I’m A Winner features a slew of hits on wickedly popular riddims from Arif Cooper, Don Corleone, Kemar “Flava” McGregor, Sly & Robbie, Penthouse and more. I’m A Winner will be available May 12th on Itunes and fine e-tailers everywhere.

Although he could be considered a veteran based on his extensive catalog and steady approach to recording, Spanner Banner brings a youthfulness and energy that belie his accomplishments. I’m A Winner wastes no time in making this apparent with the very first tracks—a pair of conscious anthems. Opening with Arif Cooper’s uber popular Guardian Angel Riddim, “Solid As A Rock”, embodies all the vocal and musical heights Spanner Banner is known for. The follow up track, “One Love”, which is a cut from Corleone’s Heavenly Riddim debuted at #4 and peaked at #2 on Tempo in 2008. “Angels Around Me” is a recent timeless hit song recorded for Kemar ‘Flava’ McGregor’s No Doubt label and “Rolling Stone”, which should be handled carefully for the amount of soulful reggae grooves it emits will no doubt prove to be a sleeper hit. On “Everything”, Spanner takes us for carefree ride over a bouncy modern rocksteady beat created by the Riddim Twins, Sly and Robbie, in which Spanner Banner allows his vocal range is allowed to flex. “Jah Is Merciful” returns to his conscious one drop roots while “Stress Free” and the title track, “I’m A Winner”, feature a refreshing pop flavor, which lighten the results. Featuring timeless hits and hidden gems, I’m A Winner is just what it claims to be.
