FAMS HOUSE MUSIC MORE THAN "HAPPY" WITH THE RIDDIM

Photobucket

Fams House Music is proud to bring the roots rocking Happiness Riddim to reggae and music fans in association with Zojak World Wide, the leader in digital distribution of reggae music. The Fams House production team, including three sons of legendary bassist for Bob Marley and The Wailers, Aston “Family Man” Barrett, brings a smart mix of current artists (Turbulence, Sizzla, Natural Black, Lutan Fyah, Perfect, Norris Man and more) and captivating roots rock reggae played by quality musicians. It is a proven formula that not only “Fams” would be pleased with but also fans of roots and reggae music in general. Excellent instrumentation and thoughtful arrangements complemented by compelling guitar riffs and horn solos by Jamaican sax maestro, Dean Fraser, make the Happiness Riddim stand out among contemporary roots productions. The Happiness Riddim is available March 31st on Itunes and e-tailers everywhere.

Starting with a solid roots foundation, the Happiness Riddim enhances its serious roots credentials beginning with the first track on the album, Lutan Fyah’s “Kingston 7 to 13”, in which the deejay lends his voice to the voiceless struggling in Jamaica’s capital city. Sizzla regains the roots groove that made him a worldwide phenomenon on “Got To Praise Jah” and Perfect is able to link a powerful roots consciousness with an energetic poetic flow on “The King”. Warrior King maintains the vibes on the universal “Where Color Is No Issue” and Jigsy King’s “Conquer Dem” offers a unique alternative for dancehall fans as well. Outstanding contributions by Nanko (“Maybe”), Norris Man (“Time Shall Reveal”) and Natural Black (“Nother Picture”) show no efforts were wasted on the Happiness Riddim. Furthermore, Fams House artists G Whizz (“Happiness”) and I Righteous (“Far Life”) represent with a confidence and talent that hints at even greater things to come for the artists and the Fams House team. Indeed, one listen and reggae fans are bound to understand where the Happiness comes from
