RAIN WATA RIDDIM & MAMA RIDDIMS THE FOCUS OF TAD'S NEW RIDDIM RULER ALBUM

Tad’s International Rain Wata and Mama Riddim Riddim Ruler album is a moving production, this time featuring the Cutstone Records produced Rain Wata Riddim. Composed by Joe Keys and recorded with a fresh rootsy perspective in Cutstone’s St. Ann’s-based studio, the Rain Wata is at once both familiar and new. Chezidek (“Sun Or Rain”), Perfect (“Police Boy”) and Kali Blaxx (“One Smoke”) provide strong name recognition but it’s the new names that give the riddim its legs. Zahmunda’s “Jah Love Surrounds Me” has had the ear of Jamaica since the riddim was released in 2008 and “In The Rain” promises to be a breakout song for St. Ann’s own Loaded, from the group SLR. “One And Only” is a powerful R&B combination from St. Croix artists, Cherise King and Chai while Mr. Groove’s “Beautiful Morning” and Kharuso’s “Inna Di Garrison” are soulful songs possessing a passion rarely heard today. Tad’s International also includes the Mama Riddim, a cool 2009 roots riddim release with acoustic guitar riffs played in style. Anthony B’s “Don’t Worry No More” is a conscious recording with strong words of righteousness and Cobra offers an outstanding conscious effort as well on “One Day” while Cutty Corn’s “Life Nuh Easy” and Ras Frazer’s “Be Strong” have the ability to lift up the vibes in even the most down-pressing situation. Indeed, Tad’s Riddim Ruler: Rain Wata & Mama Riddims will be a waterfall of joy for fans of roots and reggae music.
