NAKED EYE MAG TAKES GOOD LOOK AT LUNICE, POIRIER AND GRAHMZILLA

Beat: Click My Finger Remixed by Canadians

It's been two years since Erup stepped into the back of a container truck in Kingston, Jamaica, to lay down his fiery dancehall track "Click My Finger." Most pop songs have a half-life of a couple of months, but the two years that Erup's infectious tune has stored under its belt have seen the song explode from a Caribbean chart hit to an international success story, landing it at the top of the BBC Dancehall chart and settling in for a cool 11 weeks on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop 100 chart.

More recently, the song has undergone a rebirth. Erup's Jamaican label Truckback Records has released a remix EP, simply titled Click My Finger - Remixed. The release features floor-shaking remixes by Thunderheist's Grahmzilla, Poirier, Nick Catchdubs and Lunice (that's him floating above). As proud Canadian electronic music fans can likely spot, three of those remixes come from our side of the border.
