Beginning with a minimalist guitar riff, flute melody and one drop drum beat, the Springblade takes a unique foundation approach to dancehall music. Queen Ifrica’s “Yad The East”, Capleton’s “Lighthouse Top”, Delly Ranx “God Nah Sleep” and New Kidz “System” show how well the conscious message works. Anthony B (“Violate”), Beenie Man (“Hardest Way”) and Monster Hemp Higher (“Stop Man”) provide balance and energy with a more aggressive approach. TOK applies their combined creative and upbeat vibe on “Entourage”, Tony Rebel has something to say to the love of his life on “Believe You” while Tony Curtis & G Maffiah speak to the concerns of everyday people around the world today on “Rich”. This Spring, the Springblade Riddim offers 18 tracks of pure dancehall enjoyment just in time for the change in seasons. In fact, Truckback and Zojak World Wide suggest dancehall fans and dance fans everywhere get a jump on the season with The Springblade Riddim!
